+ Position Overview

UI LABS is actively recruiting candidates for the position of Operations Associate, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. This person is responsible for factory logistics tracking, procurement of parts, project invoice review and other project management administrative tasks. Demonstrated experience is required in areas that include record keeping and status reporting, customer interface and information / material management. The ability to multitask in a variety of areas and interface directly with UI LABS members is critical.

+ Key Responsibilities

  • Track factory equipment procurement (receipt and invoices)
  • Factory equipment procurement process from order to receiving
  • Member agreement / invoice status and follow-up
  • Meeting coordination
  • Update department metrics
  • Keep record tracking systems updated
  • Highlight and escalate problems when appropriate
  • Monitor project contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Aid in the development and completion of project templates
  • Review and approve project invoices
  • Monitor project deliverable status
  • Other duties as assigned

+ Position Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, tracking, or other equivalent work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in providing logistics support in an engineering or production organization
  • Experience with direct interface and follow-up with customers / members
  • Detail-orientated and organized self-starter
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Office and clerical experience
